So obviously an endeavor like this involves a lot of stuff, or conversely almost no stuff. Being a gear nerd and a bit of a gear snob, I did work in a shop for years so cut me some slack, I am in the "a lot of stuff" camp.
If you are going to go broke doing something you might as well have some nice shit while you do it! And if you can pro-deal a lot of that nice shit all the better. If working in a shop and the outdoor/conservation world has taught me anything there is almost always a way to get around paying retail price for most things.
As all of my final odds and ends come together I will be posting gear lists and break-downs so any who cares can see what I will be carrying.
